We are hosting a community engagement campaign and feasibility study on behalf of two projects we sponsor: Great Falls Food Hub & Great River Coop.
If you are a farmer, food producer/maker or restaurateur this survey informs what happens next. We want to learn more about you, your offerings, any challenges and needs that you have.
Please complete your survey by October 30, if possible. And, no later than November 3.
Focus Groups/Round Tables will be happening at Harlows Farm Stand from 4 – 6 pm pm Wednesday November 5 and at Charlestown Town Hall, NH in the evening of Monday November 17. (time TBD)

Thank you to all that attended the Great Falls Food Hub’s (GFFH) for Open House last Friday, in synch with Bellows Falls 3rd Friday downtown event. The food business incubator space has a shared commercial kitchen, cooler/freezer storage and loading dock for deliveries used by Smokin’ Bowls, C & K Foods, 7 Balls Brewing. While Finallie Ferments, Rolling 802 grew out of the space, it exemplifies how the space incubates new business ideas.
And, small batch ice-cream maker, Ocreemo, also grew out of the GFFH space, then outgrew their own space, and are back at the Food Hub as they expand. Welcome back to the energetic, Ocreemo duo working alongside all of those food hub users making more local food available to us!
And, thank you to the Owners/Visionaries of several new food businesses that stopped by, took a tour and are expressing interest in using the space to generate more local nourishment. Yahoo!
